Comfort Ti-AC 36 is cool enough to be the solution for homes in which solar heat reduction for cooling is a must. Comfort Ti-AC 36 has a low solar heat gain coefficient that blocks the heat of the sun, helping your air conditioning to work at peak efficiency and keeping your home cool inside. Comfort Ti-AC 36 provides great insulating value, keeping your interior temperatures comfortable.
Comfort Ti-AC 36 has a low-emissivity (LowE) rating of .03, which calculates to a center-of-glass U-Value of .24*, making it a great insulator in winter. No other glass product provides better insulating value.

Please be advised that LowE glass will slightly effect the color of the grids.
A major component of the unit’s overall thermal energy efficiency. Products with “clear” glass are the least efficient, while those with LowE are much more thermally effective. The better performing windows are those using LowE glass with Argon or Krypton gas. With this glass feature, all Ideal vinyl windows are ENERGY STAR qualified.
Argon is a safe, odorless, colorless, non-toxic, non-flammable inert gas that is commonly used in place of air between the glass panes of an insulated Low-E glass unit. Argon’s heat conductivity is lower than that of air, and thus it is a better insulator and contributes to a lower U-factor. Argon is not an effective solar performer by itself; that is why it is only used in conjunction with Low-E insulated glass. Krypton gas is a rare atmospheric gas which is odorless, colorless, tasteless, nontoxic, monatomic and chemically inert. Similar to Argon gas, Krypton gas is three times heavier and provides superior thermal efficiency. Krypton gas works best in narrow air space, making it the best choice when used in triple pane glass.
Ideal’s triple pane glass system performs like no other. It’s absolutely the best glass system available for significantly lowering home energy costs, making homes noticeably more comfortable and helping to protect furniture, draperies and floor coverings from damaging ultra-violet rays. Our triple pane glass system consists of three panes of glass, two of Ideal’s most advanced Low-E coatings, one highly unique steelspacer system and krypton, argon gas or a blend of both. This glass system provides outstanding U-values and thermal performance, as well as unparalleled Solar Heat Gain Coefficients. This means that these products perform very well in warm-weather climates to prevent heat from entering your home. You will see the savings in your heating and cooling bill and feel the difference in your home.
Foam filled frames can increase the insulating value of the window’s frame and sash members by up to 30%. This translates into a 3-8% improvement in the windows overall U-Value.
This injected foam expands to thoroughly fill each pocket, enhancing condensation resistance and improving frame rigidity.
